Sword Art Online - Abduction arc, chapter 14
Kazuki Kurusu was starting to worry. Well, just a little bit. He wasn’t the type of guy to worry that much. Life was good and his job paid well. That’s the least you can expect when being a hitman. Well, it pays well… when you have some contracts to work on. Kazuki was trying hard to maintain his own code of conduct: he only accepts a kill contract when the target is an actual asshole - corrupt politicians, drug barons, financial criminals… that sort of thing. But he knew that meant not accepting to work with everyone, and occasionally, he might fall a little bit short on money. The Brotherhood: Riverdale Tales, chapter 18
That was supposed to be a good day. Luke was slowly acclimating to Riverdale. The hardest part was being accepted as a trainee officer by the local sheriff. Even with the Brotherhood backing him, being an undercover agent was new for him - and the quick training he got to the Brotherhood had hardly prepared him to being an actual cop. But against all odds, things appeared to unravel just fine. His fake references had quickly been accepted, and the work wasn’t so hard, Riverdale being - apart from strange events - an overall calm little town. He even felt like he was starting to gain a little confidence from his targets. At least, they didn’t seem to suspect him of being a brotherhood member - even less of being the one who had gassed them and left them tied up for a whole night. Things were really going well. But then came the phone call. It was a little after 11 a.m., and Luke immediately understood that something was wrong. The number of his phone was one of the brotherhood’s ,

Sword Art Online, abduction arc - Chapter 12
They had run for five good minutes, turning randomly in the alleys and narrow streets, before Manato called for a break. Haruhiro almost felt bad for having him run at this pace: not only did he not have as much stamina as he had, but he also had to carry the Spriggan. They put him down on the pavement, his back resting against the wall of an old house. “Phew, I think we’ve lost him”, Manato said. “MMhnph phhm hmmm? MMhn nrm mnn gnmph?” Kirito mumbled. “Hey, the spriggan is really well trussed up. Look at all these ropes!” Haruhiro commented, almost admiring the ropework. His class being thief, he had learned many skills implying rope manipulation, although he hadn't had the opportunity to really do bounty hunting yet. He slid one of his fingers under the rope binding Kirito’s chest and arms, slightly tickling him in the process. “MMhnph nrm mnn nnnng?” Kirito tried to protest. “Yep. Very sturdy!” Haruhiro commented. “And look at this… gag?” Manato said, pointing at the leather
It seems that DA has started to delete some of my Bowen pics and some chapter from my stories. This is quite absurd but I won't fight it. Everything I posted and shall post on DA is also visible on AO3, and my full and complete collection of stories and high-res illustrations from Bowen are safe on my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/carnath_gid I shall also update my Pixiv page in the future.
